Compliance Services

Transform will provide compliance services for both WEEE from private households (B2C) and WEEE from users other than private households (B2B).

The Regulations require producers to register regardless of which market they place their products in. However, the registration requirements and obligations are different for each type of products.

All electrical and electronic equipment placed on the market in the UK must also conform to two other requirements:

1. From 1 April 2007, it must be marked with the crossed out wheely bin logo and have a date stamp or black line under the logo to signify that it was placed on the EU market after 13 August 2005.
2. It must also conform to the Restrictions of Hazardous Substances Regulations and not contain any materials that are banned from the manufacture of EEE.
